Simple, intimate and basic weddings are the new normal.

When it comes to wedding ceremonies, we can all agree that size matters. Some prefer their wedding to be a grand celebration, inviting 80 – 300 guests. While some prefer it in a smaller number. But 2020 has placed us back to simple times. Today, the simpler and fewer guests, the better due to the new norm.

Simple and basic wedding ceremonies ­- they’re (generally) less expensive and just as meaningful and memorable as weddings that pull out all the stops. And they’re less stressful. When there are less details to worry about, there is less anxiety.

GET A WEDDING COORDINATOR

It doesn’t have to be a fancy wedding coordinator, but can simply be a family member who you trust to run things according to your plan. If you have someone else taking care of all the details on the day of the wedding yourself, you don’t have to worry about it, and can relax and enjoy the festivities.

FORGET FANCY INVITATIONS – KEEP IT SIMPLE

Traditional wedding invitations have different envelopes, tissue papers, some other special papers, and that’s all before you even get to the invitation itself. Its way too much trouble and too expensive.

SKIP WHAT IS NOT NECESSARY

As you are determining the details, skip out the things that aren’t important and necessary. Do you really need 2 bands to play? A very popular host? Does your wedding favors need to be expensive wines?

We suggest you just spend more one-on-one time with your guests, so some of those extras aren’t worth the cost.

SPEND WISELY – KNOW WHAT YOU NEED

Your budget will decrease with fewer guests, so really do think about those extra funds to really enhance the evening. Use your extra money to enhance what really matters in your wedding.
