Going to college is something that many of us dream of, but sometimes, life hinders it and the idea of choosing if you’ll just look for a job or pursue your diploma makes you question what you should really prioritize.
In other cases, jobs, necessities, and tuitions can seem overwhelming. After all, most of us are already squeezing our hard-earned money in between and might just be too much in the mix.
JARDIN CARES – MEET JARDIN DE MIRAMAR’S SCHOLAR JEREMIE YBIOSA
Jeremy Ybiosa, 21 – Jardin de Miramar’s housekeeping staff, has worked at Jardin for 2 years. He has 4 other siblings; his father is a foreman while his mother is a housewife. Life was not that easy for their family. After graduating from High school, Jeremy decided to work instead of pursuing his college degree.
When asked about him, people know him as a soft-spoken person, hardworking, persevere in every task that he does, works thoroughly, and every area assigned to him is always clean. He is also an initiative worker and doesn’t wait for tasks to be assigned to him. This is no surprise why Jardin de Miramar chose him to be their scholar.
PURSUING FOR A GOOD FUTURE FOR THE SCHOLAR
It is important to remember when thinking about what you would like to achieve in your life, that change is inevitable. Your circumstances and priorities will change throughout your life. You may realize that you may never do something as you had planned when you were at a certain age. However, there will be other things that you can achieve instead, and you can still continue to improve your first plan and get pleasure from it.
Currently taking B.S. Information Technology at ICCT, Jeremy is determined to finish his degree, thanks to Jardin de Miramar. While
doing his interview
, we asked him what he originally dreamed of taking. According to him, he always wanted to be an Animator. Like everyone else, Jeremy only wanted to be successful in his future.
Jardin de Miramar takes care of him, and he gives back that kindness by doing his best in both his studies and his work.
“Gusto ko makilala pa at mapanatili and kagandahan nito (Jardin de Miramar), upang maging sagana at mas maraming tumangkilik.” he said.
