The Jardin Team: Relaxed, Refreshed, and Re-energized

Just before the summer ended, the team at Jardin de Miramar enjoyed a much-needed getaway at the Pico de Loro at Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu, Batangas and at the Ocean Villas, Puerto Azul in Ternate, Cavite. Last June 29 – 30, a team of 12 people from different departments at Jardin de Miramar trooped to the south to enjoy the beach.

The team enjoyed their bonding time with each other by cooking, eating, and exchanging stories on their first day. The next day they enjoyed frolicking at the beach, taking pictures, and experiencing some water activities like swimming, banana boating, and jetski-ing.

The team also paid a visit to the lovely compound of visual sculptor Reggie Yuson at Indang, Cavite. There, they witnessed several garden sculptures and got to talk about the artist regarding his work process. They also saw small sculptures like a miniature city. For the team, it is refreshing to see some new concepts that they can apply to planning new events and projects.

Undoubtedly, the team was rearing to take a vacation but only did so when the timing was right and everybody was safe. When asked about the what activity she enjoyed the most, team member Johanna said that riding the banana boat along with her new colleagues was a welcome change after a year of just sitting at a desk chair. Team member Ivan said that the most relaxing thing they did was eating the delicious food and enjoying the fantastic view of the beaches down South. Team member Rita said that she enjoyed the small and laidback group. Everyone treated each other like family.

After being cooped up for more than a year without any social gatherings, the team made sure that they were having fun under safe conditions: by gathering in the outdoors and observing minimum health protocols like wearing of masks and maintaining a distance of one meter apart.

The next part of the excursion will be on September for the rest of the Jardin staff. The Jardin de Miramar team recognizes the importance of balancing work and play. Their time together will build stronger bonds as a team to effectively cooperate and work with you. To be at their best when facing clients and customers, the team members needed to have a fresh outlook on life to deliver great experiences to you.

Currently, the team at Jardin de Miramar officially has had their first doses of the vaccine and is keen to get fully-vaccinated as a step towards the comeback of events. Come 2022, Jardin de Miramar will open up new attractions as its mandate to provide an eclectic mix of art, design, and architecture in a curated venue, one that is always in tune with the times.
