THE MODERNO SECTION: ESTACION, SEVILLA AND PLAZA

Garden venues are all the rage these days! Check out these three venues in focus at Jardin De Miramar. These venues exude modernity with their stripped down structures.

The Plaza Venue is an exterior space with roofing adjoining two other venues: the Sevilla and Estacion. The Sevilla Venue is the only enclosed, air-conditioned space inside the Jardin while the Estacion has a wide, flat garden layout perfect for couples who want the authentic garden look.

ESTACION

Estacion’s Unique Features and Function

Great for wedding ceremonies on a beautiful day and cocktail receptions on a summer night, the Estacion prides itself in a wide, grassy area with the letters “Mr. and Mrs.” at the center. On both ends, there are visible arches that are adorned with flowery vines.

Guest have a grand time enjoying the swift windy air right next to a palm forest. A backdrop of the clear blue sky and lush greenery awaits nature-loving couples.

PLAZA

Plaza’s Unique Features

The pillar bricks with the green trellis enveloping the Plaza gives it a rustic feel. The soft loops on the ceiling pinned together by a capiz chandelier inspired by butterflies gives it a stunning, flowing effect and is even considered one of the loveliest ceilings in Jardin. Fairy lights adorn the ceiling adding to that magical effect. On the outset, it looks like a flower in full-bloom with all its petals spread-out.

A piece of atrium water sculpture by Reg Yuson is situated at the center. It is a green cube seemingly floating and mimics the color patterns of the trellis above. Guests and couples may find it pleasing in taste. It serves as the breaker between the Plaza Venue and the more historic, Intramuros.

Plaza’s Function

The Plaza may withstand spillovers from the main venue, Sevilla. The Plaza can also be used as a registration area for corporate functions and guest-list signings for weddings. It may also hold a cocktail reception for a nice evening event.

SEVILLA

Sevilla’s Unique Features

A 254 sqm floor area, the Sevilla prides itself in monochromatic walls illuminated with fern-accentuated lights. The clear glass windows situated on top of the high-ceilinged walls allow the guests to be one with nature despite being in an enclosed space. The aquarium windows lighted in a radiant shade of blue look out to a rock garden filled with antique jars.

Alfred Galvez’s muted fern murals adorn the walls up to the backdrop of the stage, a complete display of elegance and ornamentation.

The triangle-shaped ceiling can be used as a jump-off point to decorate and stylize the area. It provides dynamics that enhance the experience of guests and clients alike.

Sevilla’s Function

The Sevilla can be used to host wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate functions, family reunions, team gatherings and recognition programs. A stage is set at the center and can be used according to the guests’ liking.
